Kamal Hospital

This hospital is right in Indri, very close to the bus stand. Being so near the buses means we see all sorts of people coming through. It is a busy spot because of the location. We handle a bit of everything here since we are a general hospital. If someone gets hurt or feels sick in the village or nearby, they usually walk over or get dropped off here. The building is older but it serves its purpose well. We have beds for people who need to stay over and a small area for emergencies. It gets dusty sometimes because of the road and the bus traffic, but we try our best to keep the floors scrubbed. The staff is mostly local people who know the area well. We don't have all those high-tech gadgets you see in the city hospitals, but we have what is necessary for most common health problems. People know us as the place near the bus stand. It’s a landmark for many. Sometimes it’s loud with the horns honking outside, but that’s just life in Indri. We stay open to help whoever shows up. It is honest work and we have been doing it for many years now. There is always someone at the front desk to talk to. We just keep things running as best as we can every day without making things too complicated for the patients.
