We operate out of No. 79 Sukh Newas on Hawa Banglo Road. It’s basically an office full of clipboards, computers, and people trying to track where a specific truck is at any given hour. Logistics is a bit of a headache most days, to be honest. You plan a route and then a road is closed or a tire goes flat, and you have to start over. We spend a lot of time on our mobiles talking to drivers who are usually tired and just want to get home after a long run. The office isn't much to look at, just some sturdy desks and a lot of paperwork piled up from deliveries over the last few weeks. Hawa Banglo Road stays busy, so there is always a sense of movement around here. We handle a mix of local deliveries and some that go a lot further out. It’s not like those big companies you see on TV with robots; it’s just us making calls and making sure the boxes get loaded correctly into the vans. Sometimes we stay late because a shipment is coming in after dark and someone has to be here to sign for it. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon slump. It’s a straightforward job. We move things from one place to another and try not to lose anything along the way. Most of the time, it works out just fine for everyone.
