Our spot is on the 3rd floor of Goyal Market, right there on Ware House Road. Since we are so close to the railway station, you can hear the whistles and the rumbling of the trains all day long. It becomes like background music after a while. The market is always moving, with people unloading goods and trucks trying to back into tight spaces. We have a decent amount of space up here, but it fills up fast with crates and boxes. United Trading Company has been operating out of this room for quite some time. The elevator in the building works most of the time, but we usually just take the stairs to save time. It is a good workout. The office has big windows, but they get dusty pretty fast from all the traffic on the road below. We do not have any fancy signs or bright lights. Just a simple nameplate on the door so people know they have found the right place. It is a practical location for us because of the station. Most of the furniture is old wood and mismatching chairs. We keep a pot of water in the corner and a stack of ledgers on the main desk. It is not about looking pretty; it is about getting the orders sorted and out the door. We stay until the work is finished, however long that takes for the day.
