Vishesh Uniforms

Our shop is over at 20/3 in South Tukoganj. If you know where Apollo Tower is, we are right behind it in the Palasiya area of Indore. It’s a place filled with stacks of fabric and the sound of sewing machines. We handle a lot of different uniforms here. Some days it is quite chaotic with parents and kids coming in to get measured, especially right before the new school terms start. The space feels a bit small when there are ten people trying to find the right size all at once. We have piles of shirts and trousers everywhere, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone needs in the back. My hands are usually covered in thread bits by lunchtime. The street outside is usually crowded, so parking is always a bit of a headache for everyone. We try to keep things organized, but when you’re dealing with so many different sizes and styles, it’s a constant battle against the mess. We just do the work, hem the pants, and make sure the buttons are on tight. It’s a straightforward business. We’ve seen a lot of local families grow up over the years. We are just regular people making clothes that need to last through a long school day or a tough shift at a factory. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going.
