You can find us at Plot No. 107/c in Sector B on Sanwer Road. This part of the industrial area is always moving. At Vijay Footwear Industries, we make shoes and sandals mainly. The factory floor is usually covered in scraps of rubber and leather by the end of the day. It is a messy job, but someone has to do it. We have a lot of workers who have been with us for a long time. They know how the machines sound when they are running right. Sanwer Road gets really dusty in the summer, but inside the shed, we just keep the fans going and stay on task. We aren't trying to be the biggest factory in the sector, just a reliable one. We check the soles and the glue on every pair because nobody wants a shoe that falls apart after a week. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day, but that is the nature of footwear production. The lights go on at eight and don't go off until the last shipment is packed. We get deliveries of raw materials every few days, and then it’s a rush to get everything processed. Sector B is a busy place, and we are just glad to be a part of the local industry here. It’s a straightforward business with no shortcuts. We focus on the work and let the shoes get sent where they need to go.
