Shoppers Destination

We’ve been at the ground floor of Apollo Tower on MG Road for a while now. Most people know the spot because it’s right there when you walk into the building at Shop No. 1. It’s a busy area, especially in the evenings when the street gets crowded with folks finishing work or just out for a walk. Dealing with the traffic out front is just part of the day. The shop isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when a lot of people come in at once, but that's just how it goes in this part of town. We spend a lot of time sorting through stock and making sure things are where they need to be. There’s always something to do, whether it's checking what's on the shelves or just chatting with someone who stopped by to ask for directions. MG Road is a loud place, so you get used to the horns and the constant movement outside the glass. It’s mostly just us trying to keep things running smooth day in and day out. It’s a job like any other, really. We open up in the morning, do what needs doing, and close up when the sun goes down. Most days are pretty much the same, but you see a lot of different faces coming through Apollo Tower, which keeps things from getting too boring. You just get on with the work and try to keep things organized.
