Tarun Kirana

Tarun Kirana has been part of the L I G Colony for quite some time now. We are located on the L I G Main Road in Ambedkar Nagar, not too far from Bima Hospital. Because of the hospital nearby, we often see people who are just passing through or visiting relatives. Our shop is a typical kirana store where we stock grains, oils, and all the small things you need for a house. Indore can get quite dusty, so we are always cleaning the shelves. We have a couple of large refrigerators for milk and curds which are busy in the mornings. The shop isn't fancy; it has a simple cement floor and wooden racks that have been here for years. We handle the sales ourselves, usually sitting on a small wooden chair near the entrance. The street outside is always active with traffic and people walking by. We know many of our regular customers by their names and what they usually buy. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to stack boxes in the aisle for a while. It is just a regular way of life for us here. The shop stays open late so that people coming back from their shifts can still get their groceries. It is a small, functional space that keeps the neighborhood supplied with their daily needs.
