Sukhdev General Store

Sukhdev General Store is over at 34-A on Khatipura Main Road in Indore. We are right near the complex, which makes it a convenient spot for people passing by on their way to other errands. The shop is a simple one, nothing fancy about the way it’s built or decorated. We have a lot of plastic jars filled with different candies and biscuits sitting right on the front counter. Behind that, the shelves are crowded with everything from notebooks to packets of detergent. It’s the kind of place where you can find a bit of everything if you look long enough. The overhead light flickers sometimes, and we really should get it fixed, but it hasn’t stopped us from helping the people who come in. We deal with a lot of school kids and office workers who need a quick snack or a cold drink. The traffic on Khatipura Main Road is always humming in the background, making it hard to hear sometimes. We don't have a mission statement or any big goals other than keeping the shelves stocked and making sure we don't run out of the essentials. It is a bit of a messy business, honestly, with papers and invoices often sitting in a pile near the register. But people know us and they know we are here from morning until the sun goes down. We just keep things moving one day at a time in Indore.
