Stsp

Down here at 5 Maharani Road, things move at their own pace. Stsp is the name on the door, but to us, it’s just where we spend our weekdays. The building is older, with those thick walls that keep the heat out during the summer months. We have a few windows that look out onto the street, so we see the vendors and the cars going by all afternoon. Inside, it’s mostly just us sitting around our desks, trying to keep track of everything on our list. There’s always a stack of papers somewhere that needs looking at. We aren't big on meetings or long speeches. Usually, we just talk across the room if something comes up. It’s easier that way. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we all just take a break and chat about whatever is on the news. The floor is a bit creaky in the corner near the filing cabinets, but it gives the place some character. We’ve got a small kitchen area where someone is always leaving a tea mug. It’s a simple setup, nothing like those modern offices you see in magazines. We handle our business, talk to our regulars, and try to stay organized. Most of us have been here long enough that we don’t need to explain much to each other. We just get on with it. It’s a steady job in a familiar part of town.
