Nanda Nagar is a fairly busy part of Indore, and that’s where you’ll find our office at No. 1112/65. We’re right in the Vijay Nagar area, which has grown a lot and gotten much more crowded over the years. Our office isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a plain door and a small window that looks out onto the street. Inside, we have a few desks with computers that stay on all day long. We spend a lot of time looking at numbers and charts on the screens, trying to make sense of what the market is doing. It’s not the kind of job where you get your hands dirty with oil or grease, but it can be tiring in its own way. The phones ring quite a bit throughout the day, and there’s always the sound of typing in the background. We keep a stash of biscuits and some tea fixings in the back for when we can’t get away for a proper meal. The walls are mostly bare, except for a couple of clocks and a calendar that someone forgot to flip to the current month. We don't have a big team, just a handful of us who know each other well and work together. It’s a quiet environment for the most part, except when something big happens in the market news and everyone starts talking at once. We like being in this part of town because it’s easy for people to reach us. We just do our work and try to stay on top of things. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve gotten used to over the years.
