SP Jain & Co.

Our office and yard are located at 394 in Loha Mandi. As the name of the area suggests, it’s all about iron and steel around here. SP Jain & Co. is surrounded by other traders and warehouses, so it’s always a bit chaotic with trucks coming and going. The dust from the road usually finds its way inside, so everything has a thin layer of gray on it. We spend our time checking inventory, talking to suppliers, and making sure the orders are loaded correctly onto the lorries. It’s a lot of paperwork and a lot of heavy lifting. We have a small desk where we keep the ledgers, and there is usually a stack of old newspapers in the corner. It’s not a fancy office by any means. We have a couple of wooden chairs for visitors and a ceiling fan that makes a clicking sound. The tea vendor comes around twice a day, which is usually the highlight of the afternoon. We’ve been part of Loha Mandi for a long time, so we know the other business owners and the loaders by name. It’s a rough-and-ready kind of place, but it’s where we feel at home. We don’t do much in the way of promotion. Most of our work comes from people who have been dealing with us for decades. We just show up, do the books, manage the stock, and head home when the sun goes down.
