Burhani Sales

You can find Burhani Sales on the first floor of the Gurukripa Complex. We are in the South Hathipala area, very close to the Saify Hotel. If you see the hotel, you are basically right there. We have a small shop that is mostly filled with boxes and crates. We sell various items, mostly hardware and supplies that people need for their homes or for their own shops. It’s not a big showroom with bright lights and fancy displays. It’s more of a practical place where you come to get what you need and then go on with your day. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow and steep, so carrying big orders down can be a bit of a task for us. We have a couple of guys who help with the heavy lifting when things get busy. My desk is tucked in the back corner under a ceiling fan that squeaks a little bit when it’s on high. We still keep a ledger for all the sales we make. Some days the phone rings constantly and other days it stays quiet for hours. We’ve been at 13 South Hathipala for quite a few years now. The neighbors in the complex are all good people, mostly other traders and shopkeepers. We know the tea seller downstairs quite well and see him every morning. We don't do much advertising at all. People just know we are here. The stock changes quite often too.
