Solanki Plastic

We are located out in Khatipur at Plot No 71/2, which is near the Electronic Complex. It’s a good spot for a business like ours because there are other workshops and factories around. We deal with plastics, so it can get a bit noisy and messy sometimes, but that’s just part of the trade. Our building is simple and focused on production. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anyone sitting at a front desk. Usually, you’ll just find us in the back working with the materials. We’ve been doing this for a long time, so we know the machines and the rhythms of the work. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to make sure the orders are right and the quality is decent enough. The area around the Electronic Complex is always busy with trucks and deliveries, so we are used to the chaos. We have a small team, and most of us have been working together for years. We eat lunch together and talk about whatever is going on in the news. It’s a humble business, but it keeps us busy and provides for our families. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to check an order. Mostly, it’s just hands-on work from morning until the evening when we lock up. The smell of plastic is something you just stop noticing after the first week. We keep our machines maintained and just keep pushing through the daily list of tasks. It's a steady life.
