Skylad Engineering And Electricals Works

We operate out of Warehouse 1, which is located at 28/2 in Talawali Chanda. It’s right near the Panchwati Colony and close to the Lasudiya Thana at Dewas Naka. If you’ve ever been to this part of the outskirts, you know it’s a place dominated by warehouses and big trucks. It’s dusty and can get quite hot in the summer months. Our space is essentially a large hall where we handle engineering and electrical work. The floors are hard concrete, and the ceiling is high and corrugated. There is always a bit of an echo when you talk. We have a small corner walled off for the office work, but mostly we are out on the floor. At Skylad Engineering And Electricals Works, we deal with heavy items, so there’s usually a forklift moving around or someone tinkering with a motor. The proximity to the Thana means there’s always a bit of official activity nearby, and the Dewas Naka traffic is something we deal with daily. It’s not a place for fancy clothes; we usually end the day with a bit of grease or dust on our shirts. We have a small stove for making chai, and that’s about as luxury as it gets here. We like the grit of the warehouse life. It feels like we are actually building things and making progress. Talawali Chanda is a busy hub, and we are just glad to have our spot in it.
