We've been at Palika Plaza for quite a while now. Specifically G-5 in the 2nd Mth Compound. It’s a busy spot, usually lots of people moving around, looking for different types of cloth. We keep various fabrics on the shelves, some cotton, some synthetic, whatever people usually ask for when they walk in. It's a small place but we manage to fit a lot of rolls in there. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a new shipment arrives and we have to stack things up. My family has been doing this kind of work for years. We don't really do much fancy advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are. Usually, customers come from nearby areas or are just passing through the plaza. We open up in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. There's always some dust from the fabric, and the tea guy comes around twice a day which is nice. Dealing with suppliers takes up a lot of the afternoon. We try to keep the prices fair so people come back next time they need something for a suit or a dress. It’s just a regular shop where we try to keep things organized despite the limited space. The address is pretty easy to find once you are inside the compound, just look for G-5. It’s just us here, working through the piles of cloth every day. We don't have a website, just the physical shop.
