If you find yourself on M.G. Road in Indore, you’ll probably pass by Oswal House where our office is at room 201. Being on the second floor helps a bit with the street noise, though you can still hear the horns honking all day long. Siddharth Purespun Private Limited is basically just a group of us who have spent most of our lives working with thread and yarn. It isn’t the kind of place with a big lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us sitting at a desk covered in samples and ledgers. We do a lot of our work over the phone and through old-fashioned grit. Indore is a fast city, and staying on top of everything takes a lot of effort. We get our tea from the same guy downstairs every morning at 10:30. Sometimes we forget to eat lunch because there is a shipment that needs to be sorted or a buyer calling from another state. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are more interested in what’s happening with the machines and the supply. It’s a lot of manual tracking and making sure the counts are right. We don’t do much advertising because the work usually speaks for itself through the people we’ve known for years. It’s just a regular business life here.
