Shridhha Tent House

Shridhha Tent House is located at 85/12 in Nanda Nagar, right across from the local church. This landmark makes it easy for people to find us, which is good because we are often out on the road. Our shop is mostly a storage space for heavy iron poles, rolls of colorful fabric, and stacks of plastic chairs. It is a very physical business. We spend our mornings loading the tempo with wooden planks and heavy carpets. The dust from the street often blows into the storage area, so we are constantly dusting off the equipment. Across the street, the church bells ring at regular intervals, which helps us keep track of time during a busy day. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. Usually, we just sit on one of the folded chairs near the entrance to handle our paperwork. The staff is mostly made up of local guys who know how to tie knots and set up a stage in no time. It is sweaty work, especially under the afternoon sun when we are hammering stakes into the ground. We have a few old fans in the shop, but they don't do much against the Indore heat. Sometimes the fabric gets torn or a pole goes missing, and we have to fix it ourselves on the spot. It is just a basic, hardworking tent house serving the local Nanda Nagar area.
