Shree Krishna Kirana General Store

Running Shree Krishna Kirana General Store here in Tilak Nagar keeps us pretty busy every day of the week. We are located in G 3 of the Vasundhara Complex. It is a good spot because a lot of families live nearby and they just walk over when they run out of salt or sugar. Indore is a place where people really care about their food, so we have to make sure the pulses and grains are always fresh and clean. The shop is not very big, so things are stacked pretty high on the shelves. Sometimes it takes a minute to find the exact brand of biscuit someone wants, but we usually know exactly where everything is. My father started this and now we all help out. In the mornings, the milk delivery is the first thing we deal with. Then it is just a steady flow of neighbors. We do not have a website or anything like that, we just talk to people when they come in. If the weather is nice, we stand outside for a bit and chat with the other shopkeepers in the complex. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of the road work nearby, but we keep the counters wiped down. We mostly sell daily essentials like spices, cleaning supplies, and some snacks for the kids who come after school. It is just a regular neighborhood store where you can get your weekly groceries without much fuss. The location in Vasundhara Complex makes it easy for everyone to find us.
