Shree Krishna Kirana & General Stores

Shree Krishna Kirana & General Stores is situated near the Prakash Pump Churaha in Indore. We are right on A.B. Road in the Lasudia Dewas Naka area. It’s a very busy intersection, so there's always a lot of dust and movement outside. I started this store because there weren't many places nearby to get fresh pulses and grains without going too far. We also keep everyday items like tea, sugar, and various soaps. The shop is usually open seven days a week from morning to night. I try to take a short break on Sunday afternoons if the store isn't too crowded. It’s a lot of manual labor, hauling heavy sacks of grain and stacking cardboard boxes every morning. The dust from the main road can be a real problem, so we have to clean the glass jars and packets quite often. My brother-in-law helps out with the accounts once a week because I'm not very good with the numbers. We don't have a website or any of that modern stuff. People just know we are here because of the sign. The 452010 area is quite industrial, so we get a lot of workers stopping by for quick snacks or tobacco on their breaks. It’s a straightforward business for us. We buy from the local mandi and sell to the neighbors. Sometimes the prices of oil and sugar change, which is a bit stressful.
