Our spot is at No. 77 in Shastri Market, which is basically the heart of the action around here. If you've ever been to the market, you know it’s crowded and loud from the moment the first shops open. We are right in the middle of all that chaos. Our space is mostly taken up by boxes stacked all the way to the ceiling. It’s hard to move around sometimes without bumping into something. We spend most of our day on the phone or writing down orders in a big ledger. We don't use much fancy technology here. It's just old-fashioned trading and talking to people. There is always someone coming in to ask about a price or to see if a shipment has arrived yet. We drink a lot of tea while we work because there isn't much time for a proper lunch break. The air in the market is always full of noise from the vendors outside and the bikes zooming through. We’ve been at number 77 for quite a few years now, and we know almost everyone on this street. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a quiet corner. We just focus on getting the crates moved and making sure the labels are correct. By the time we pull the shutters down at night, the street is finally starting to get a bit of peace.
