Shalby Hospital

Our hospital is tucked away on RS Bhandari Marg, right by Race Course Road. It’s a decent location, a bit more settled than the newer parts of the city. We’ve been here for a good while, and the building shows its age in a few spots, but it works for what we need. We handle a mix of everything here. Most days start early with the shift change and then it’s just a steady stream of people until late at night. The Race Course area is nice for a walk if you’re waiting on someone, though we usually don't get much time to head out ourselves. Inside, the rooms are kept clean and we try to make things as comfortable as a hospital can be. It’s never going to be like home, but we do what we can. Our nurses are pretty good at multitasking, which is lucky because it gets hectic. We have all the standard equipment you’d expect for a place this size. Sometimes the lifts are a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. It’s a practical environment. No one here is looking for praise, we’re just doing the work that needs doing. It’s a community-focused spot where people know they can come when something goes wrong with their health. Just a regular hospital on a regular street, doing its thing every day. We are just here to help where we can.
