Shakuntala Devi Hospital And Research Centre

We are situated over on the Eastern Ring Road in the Goyal Nagar area. If you know where Bengali Square is, you aren't far from us at all. It’s a pretty busy part of town, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise outside from the main road. The hospital has been around for some time, and while the name says research center too, most of our day is spent just helping people who walk through the front doors. Goyal Nagar is a nice spot, a mix of homes and businesses, so we get a real variety of people coming in. The building itself stands out a bit on the ring road. Inside, it’s usually quite a rush. The morning shift starts with a lot of tea and checking the lists from the night before. We have different floors for different things, but the ground floor is where most of the action happens. People wait on the benches, talking or just looking at their phones. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded near the entrance, especially during visiting hours. We don’t have a big PR team or anything like that; it’s just us staff members trying to keep things moving. We deal with the usual paperwork and the doctors running back and forth. It’s a lot of work, but being near a major spot like Bengali Square means we are always connected to the rest of the city.
