Our place on Sanwer Road is a bit spread out across Plot No. 204-B and 205-A, B, and C. It’s right in Sector-F and sits just across from Central Gare House No. 5. Being on a major road means there’s always traffic and noise from the trucks outside. We work with PET, so there are thousands of plastic bottles and preforms moving through the lines at any given moment. The air always has that faint smell of warm plastic. The facility is fairly large compared to some of the others in this sector. We have different sections for the blowing machines and the storage area. It gets quite busy when a big shipment of resin arrives. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. The floor managers are always walking between the different plots to make sure everything is moving along. We have a small office near the front gate where the paperwork gets done, but most of the action is in the back. The fans are huge but they still struggle to cool the place down in April and May. It’s a lot of manual labor along with the machine work. We don’t use any big fancy words to describe what we do. We just make the containers that people use every day and try to keep the machines from breaking down during the night shift. It's a hard life but it is consistent work.
