Sector 1 in Pithampur is a real industrial hub. Our spot is Plot No. 101. It’s a big open space where we handle bioactives and herbal extracts. The heat out here can be really intense, especially during the middle of the day. The building is mostly concrete and steel. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff we need to work. There are always trucks moving around the sector, so there is a constant humming sound in the background. At Sa Herbal Bioactives, we spend a lot of our time checking the raw materials that come in. It’s a lot of physical work, moving bags and barrels. We have a small office area tucked in the corner where we keep the records. The desk is usually covered in papers and sample jars. We have a small cooling unit, but it struggles when it's over forty degrees outside. We take our breaks under the shade of a tin roof out back. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The road to Plot 101 is a bit bumpy, so you have to drive slowly. Most of the people working here live nearby or take the bus from the city. We’ve been in Pithampur for a while and have seen the sector grow quite a bit. It’s a place where people just get on with their jobs.
