You can find us at 01, Main Road in Indore. This part of the city is always moving, especially being right on the main stretch. The store is basically a room full of bags of rice, pulses, and all those daily kitchen things. We have been here for quite some time now. The building is simple, nothing modern about it. Most of our days are spent weighing out items and packing them for customers. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full speed. The front of the shop stays open to the street, which means we see everyone passing by. We know most of the people who live in the nearby blocks. Sometimes the supply trucks arrive late, and we have to wait around to unload everything. The shelves aren't always perfectly organized, but we know where everything is kept. It is a family-run kind of setup. We don't use fancy computers for everything; a lot of it is still done with a pen and a notebook. If you need something for your pantry, this is where we keep it. The 452001 area is a good spot to be in because it is central. Life here is mostly about keeping the stock ready and making sure the shop stays clean enough for the next day. It is just a basic kirana store doing its thing on the main road.
