Harish Jewellery Packaging

Harish Jewellery Packaging is tucked away in Dhan Gali, near the Kali Tanki in Sarafa Bazar. We are right by the Ratan Sev Wali Gale, so it usually smells like snacks around here. Our shop is small and often quite crowded with all the materials we use. We make boxes, pouches, and bags for the jewelry shops in the market. It’s a lot of manual work, cutting cardboard and gluing velvet. Our hands are usually covered in some kind of adhesive by the end of the day. The bazar is always noisy with people and motorbikes, but we like being in the middle of it all. We've been in this spot for years and know all the other shopkeepers around us. Sometimes we sit outside on a small stool when the shop gets too stuffy. We don't have a computer to track things; we use a simple notebook to write down the orders. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it has never failed us yet. People come to us because they know we've been doing this for a long time. The lighting in the alley isn't great, but we have some bright lamps over the work tables. It’s a humble place, just a few of us working hard to get the packaging ready for the festive seasons. We don't have any big signs, just our name on a board outside. We just keep our heads down and work.
