Sandhya Kirana Store

Our shop, Sandhya Kirana Store, is located at 17 A on Annapurna Road. We are right in Vishwakarma Nagar and quite close to the Annapurna Mandir. Because of the temple nearby, the road is usually quite lively with people. We get a mix of locals and visitors stopping in. We sell all kinds of kirana items, from pulses and rice to spices and snacks. We also keep some things that people might need when they are going to the temple. The shop is a bit old-fashioned, but it serves the purpose. We do a lot of the heavy lifting ourselves, moving bags of grain and crates of cold drinks. Indore summers can be very hot, so the afternoons are usually a bit slower when everyone stays inside. That’s when we usually do our cleaning and organizing of the shelves. We don't have a team of people; it is just us managing everything from the counter to the storage. It gets a bit messy sometimes when new stock arrives, and we have to climb up ladders to put things away. People in the neighborhood know us by name, and we like it that way. We aren't looking to expand or become a big chain. We just want to keep the shop running smoothly and make sure the people around Annapurna Road can get their daily supplies easily. It is hard work but it keeps us busy and connected to the people living here.
