Saluja Eye Care Centre

This eye center is situated in BCM Heights right on the Bombay Hospital Link Road. It’s a busy spot with lots of cars and people moving between the hospitals and the shops nearby. We’re in units LG 37 and 38, so you have to head down to the lower ground level. Inside, the space is divided into a few different rooms for testing and consultations. We have those heavy machines for looking deep into the eye, and they need a lot of adjusting for each person who sits down. The reception desk is usually covered in forms and appointment slips. We try to keep things tidy, but it gets messy when we’re busy. We see a lot of patients who are also visiting the other medical facilities on the link road. The air conditioning runs most of the day because it can get stuffy in the building. We talk to people about their glasses or why their eyes are itching, and we write everything down in the files. Sometimes we run out of coffee in the break room, which is a bit of a bummer for the staff. It’s a regular part of the neighborhood here in Scheme 54. We’ve got a routine that works for us, and we just stick to it day by day. People know where to find us when their sight starts acting up. We just keep the doors open and do our job.
