Saluja Eye Care Center

Our place is located in the BCM Heights building, down in the lower ground units 37 and 38. It’s a large complex, so sometimes people get a little lost trying to find the right corridor. We’ve been set up here for a while, dealing with all sorts of eye problems. The office has that typical clinical smell, and the floors are easy to mop down at the end of the shift. We have the standard eye charts hanging on the walls and those chairs that lean back for the exams. Most of the day is spent checking people's vision and helping them pick out frames if they need them. We have a lot of drawers full of different lenses and tools. It’s quite busy around the PU-4 area, especially in the afternoons. Sometimes the lighting in the lower ground floor feels a bit different than upstairs, so we make sure we have good lamps for the work we do. We don't do anything flashy. We just open up in the morning, check the schedule, and start seeing the people who come in. There’s usually a bit of a wait, so we have some chairs lined up in the hallway. It’s a lot of repeating the same questions about blurry vision or headaches. We just try to keep things honest and get people what they need for their eyes.
