We’ve been here at Lok Nayak Nagar for a while now, just behind the Prafull Cinema. It’s a busy spot and sometimes the noise from the street gets in while we are working on the cameras. Most of our days are spent checking monitors or helping people figure out where to put their wires so they don't trip over them. We handle a lot of DVR units and different kinds of lenses. Some days it is just us sitting at the desk fixing a recorder that won't turn on. Other times we are out at someone's house trying to get the angle right on a porch light. It’s not always easy work because the technology changes so fast, but we try to keep up with the new parts. The office itself is small but we have enough room for the boxes and the tools. People usually just drop by because they saw our sign near the cinema. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some chairs and a workbench where most of the actual stuff happens. We mostly work with folks around this neighborhood. It’s a lot of testing cables and making sure the storage drives are actually saving the footage properly. If the power goes out, we have to reset everything, which can be a bit of a headache. We just do our thing here and try to help when someone has a blurry picture on their screen.
