Standard Electricals

Standard Electricals is based at No. 197/3 in the Juna Risala area. Specifically, we are in Sadar Bazar. It’s a busy part of the city with a lot of history. Our shop is full of wires, bulbs, and all sorts of electrical components. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but if you ask for something, we can usually find it in a minute or two. We’ve been in Juna Risala for a long time now. The building is older and has that smell of old dust and metal. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s a practical shop for people who need practical things. Most of our day is spent helping people figure out what part they need for a repair. We aren't trying to change the world. We’re just here to sell electrical parts. The street outside is narrow, so it gets congested quite often. We’ve gotten used to the shouting and the horns. It’s just the backdrop to our work. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the stock well. It’s a steady job and we appreciate the people who come back to us year after year. We keep things honest and simple. That’s just the way we do things at Standard Electricals. We often drink tea while we sort through the new shipments that arrive on the trucks.
