S. Raj International

We are based at 560, M.G. Road, inside the Regal Theatre Building. It’s a very well-known landmark, so we never have to give long directions to anyone. S. Raj International has a bit of history being in such an old and famous building. The walls are thick, and you can feel the age of the place when you walk through the corridors. Our office isn't modern by any means, but it has a lot of character. We have high ceilings and old windows that look out over the street. M.G. Road is always buzzing with activity, especially in the evenings when the theatre crowd starts to show up. We mostly deal with international trade bits, so there’s always a lot of talk about shipping, customs, and different time zones. Our desks are usually covered in forms and letters. We don't have a fancy reception desk or a person in a suit greeting people. It’s usually just one of us looking up from our work when the door opens. We’ve been here long enough that the sounds of the city just blend into the background. Sometimes we stop to look at the old movie posters or talk to the other tenants in the building. It’s a unique place to work. We don't put on any acts; we just do our job and handle the logistics of the business as they come. It's a busy, interesting spot to be in the middle of everything.
