Our office is at No. 20 21 in the Mahanagar Patrika building, right on AB Road. We are situated in the Press Complex, which is tucked behind the big Dainik Bhaskar building. It is a very industrial part of town with a lot of heavy vehicles and people always in a rush. Our space is mostly functional, with several desks pushed together and shelves full of ledgers and samples. The sound of the printing presses from the neighbors is a constant background hum that you eventually stop noticing. We have a small balcony where we keep some potted plants, though they struggle with all the dust from the road. Working in the Press Complex means we are right in the heart of things, which is handy for logistics. We have been operating from this spot for a long time and the building has its quirks, like the elevator that sometimes stops a few inches above the floor level. We keep a stock of stationery and files piled up in the corner because we are always running through them. It is not a place for entertaining guests, just a solid home base for our daily business operations. We grab some snacks from the street vendors during our breaks and watch the traffic go by on AB Road. It is a busy, noisy, and productive environment that keeps us on our toes every single day of the week.
