Rishabh-Pushpa Foundation

Our office is on the first floor of the F 101 building in Chandra Lok Extension. This is in Indore, which is a city that never really stops. Being on the first floor is okay, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you’re carrying heavy boxes. The space is filled with the usual stuff: desks, some filing cabinets that don’t always lock right, and a few chairs for visitors. We’re the Rishabh-Pushpa Foundation. It’s named after family, which makes it feel a bit more personal to us. We don’t have a lot of employees, just a handful of dedicated people who show up every morning. We handle a lot of different things, mostly just helping out where we can. It’s not always easy, and some days we feel like we’re falling behind on the paperwork. But we get through it. The area around Chandra Lok is mostly residential, so it feels a bit more like a home than a business district. We like that. It keeps the atmosphere relaxed. We don’t have a big mission statement written on the wall. We just know what needs to be done and we try to do it without making too much of a fuss. It’s practical, everyday work for us. We just take it as it comes and do the best we can with what we have.
