Rathore Kirana Stores

Rathore Kirana Stores is tucked away on Street No 54 in Sheetal Nagar. We are at 127-A, right in the Vijay Nagar area of Indore. It is a decent spot to be, even if the street is a bit narrow sometimes when the big delivery vans try to come through in the mornings. Running a kirana store is not exactly exciting work, but it keeps us busy from morning until night. We sell all the regular household items, things like cooking oil, bags of flour, and various cleaning supplies. Indore is a good city to live in, but the dust always finds its way onto the top shelves no matter how much we clean every day. I spend most of my afternoon weighing out things or packing small bags for the customers. It is just me and one other person helping out most days. We have a couple of benches outside where people sometimes sit and talk for a minute while they wait for their orders. The shop is small, so we have to use every inch of space, even hanging some items from the ceiling hooks. It has been here long enough that we do not even need a big sign outside. People just know the Rathore shop is the place to go if they run out of sugar or tea. It is not fancy, just a practical place for the people in Sheetal Nagar to get their supplies.
