This lab has been in the Jaora Compound for several years. If you're looking for us, we are right across from Pooja Dairy, which everyone knows. It’s a busy little area with people coming and going all day long. Rapid Diagnostics has been operating here for a while. We do a lot of blood tests and other medical checks that local people need for their health. It’s a very routine kind of job but it’s important. We open up quite early because people usually need to do their tests before they eat breakfast in the morning. The mornings are always the busiest time for us, with a lot of people waiting. We have a small waiting area inside, but it fills up fast on Monday mornings especially. I spend most of my time handling the samples and making sure the records are updated correctly on the computer. We try to keep things as clean as possible, which is a constant task. It’s not a huge hospital or anything, just a focused diagnostic center. Dealing with health stuff can be stressful for some people, so we just try to be quiet and get the work done. The compound can get a bit crowded with parking, especially near the dairy when they get their shipments. We’ve lived with that for many years. We aren't doing anything flashy here. It’s just about getting the results back to the patients so they can see their doctors. We work through the paperwork every afternoon once the morning rush dies down.
