Purple Dotes

We set up shop at No. 13 Beema Nagar quite some time ago. It’s right near Anand Bazar, so there’s always people walking by and a bit of noise from the street. The name Purple Dotes sounded good to us, so we stuck with it. We handle a variety of things here, mostly focusing on what the locals need. It's not a huge space, but we've organized it so everything has a place. Some days it feels a bit cramped when we get a new shipment in, and we have to stack boxes in the corner until we can sort them out. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the ropes. Most of our day is spent helping people who walk in or answering the phone. It’s a pretty relaxed atmosphere most of the time. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity; we just like having a local business in the city. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we've been too busy to get around to it. We like the neighborhood and the people who live around here. They stop in just to say hello sometimes. It’s that kind of place. We try to be helpful and honest about what we have in stock. If we don't have it, we'll tell you. There's no point in making things up. We just keep working and taking things one day at a time. It’s a simple way to run a business and it seems to suit us just fine.
