Our business, Pramod & Co., is located at Plot No- 335 in the Vijay Nagar Industrial Estate. If you know the estate, you know it’s a place where people get things done. We aren't in a shopping mall or a nice office building. We are right in the middle of the workshops and the manufacturing units. There is always the sound of machinery and trucks idling nearby. We’ve been at this plot for a long time. The space is mostly taken up by our inventory and the space needed to move items around. Our office is just a small corner where we handle the bills and talk to customers who drop by. It’s often dusty, and in the summer, the heat inside the industrial sheds can be quite something. We don't have a big team of sales people. Usually, it's just a couple of us making sure orders are correct and that the loading happens on time. We’ve watched Vijay Nagar grow quite a bit since we first moved in. There are more gates and more traffic now than there used to be. We just keep our heads down and focus on our own plot. We don't use fancy language or try to impress anyone with big talk. If you need something from us, you just come to the gate and ask. It’s a practical way to run things, and it has worked for us so far.
