Porwal Provisions is located at number 01 on the Main Road. Being right at the start of the road makes it easy for people to find us when they are out. We have been operating out of this spot for many years. It is a standard provision store where we focus on the essentials. We do not have any flashy signs or neon lights to attract people. People come to us because they know we have what they need for their kitchens and homes. The atmosphere inside is pretty casual. You might see us chatting with a neighbor while we weigh out some grains or pack up a bag of pulses. It is the kind of place where people know each other’s names and families. We try to keep the shop clean, but with all the bags of flour and rice, there is always a little dust around. That is just how a real provision store looks. We do not have a mission statement or anything corporate like that. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and wait for the first customer to walk in. It is a steady way to make a living and we appreciate the people who choose to shop with us. Indore is a big city, but our corner of it feels like a small village sometimes because of all the regulars. We are just here to provide the basics at a fair price for everyone.
