You’ll find us at Plot Msa-109 in New Siyaganj, right on Mal Godown Road. If you know Indore, you know Siyaganj is the heart of the wholesale trade. It’s a loud, crowded, and energetic place to be every single day of the week. We are right in the middle of all that chaos. Our place is more of a warehouse and a trading spot than a fancy office. There are always sacks or boxes being moved around, and the sound of handcarts on the road is constant throughout the day. We deal in marketing various goods, mostly moving stuff in bulk from manufacturers to smaller shops in the region. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping track of what’s in the godown at any given time. The air is often filled with the smell of whatever is being traded that day, maybe spices or grains or general hardware. We don't have air conditioning in the main area, just some old fans that move the dust around. The office is a tiny cabin in the corner where we keep the ledger and the computer. It’s cramped and filled with stacks of old bills, but it’s where we do the actual deals. We’ve been here since the market expanded, and we know almost everyone on this lane by their first name. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s a steady one. We start early when the trucks arrive and stay until the last shutter goes down for the night.
