Picasso

Our business, which we call Picasso, is tucked away at Plot No. 97 inside the S. R. Compound. It is located in the Lasudia Mori area, quite close to Dewas Naka. It is a very busy industrial zone with trucks and lorries moving in and out at all hours of the day. The compound can get incredibly muddy when it rains heavily. We have a very simple warehouse setup here without any extra frills. We do a little bit of everything related to our trade. There is a small office partitioned off in one corner where we keep our computer and all the paper files. It is usually a bit of a mess in there with different product samples and old catalogs scattered everywhere. We are just a small crew of workers. We have worked together for such a long time that we don't really need to talk much to understand what needs to get done next. We drink a lot of chai from the local vendor who comes around on his bicycle every few hours. The work can be quite repetitive sometimes, but it is the trade that we know best. We do not have any polished sales pitches or fancy marketing brochures. If someone needs the items we have, they usually find their way to us eventually. We are not big on advertising at all. Most of our customers come to us through word of mouth or long-term local connections.
