Our office is over at 32 Sk Lasudia Mori in the Dewasnaka area. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of trading going on. The road outside is always full of dust because of all the heavy vehicles moving through. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and the building has seen better days, but it’s sturdy enough for what we need. Inside, there are stacks of files and the smell of old paper and ink. We spend most of our time on the phone or working through ledgers. It’s a lot of traditional business stuff, nothing too high-tech. We know most of the neighbors and people who run the other shops nearby. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when the weather is decent, just watching the chaos of the traffic. The interior is pretty simple, just some wooden desks and chairs that have been here as long as I can remember. We don’t really have a reception area; if you walk in, you’re pretty much in the middle of everything. We handle a lot of regional distribution and supply, so there’s always something coming in or going out. It can get a bit disorganized during the peak season, but we manage to get through it every year. It’s just how things are done here, no frills and lots of hard work. The fans hum all day and the light is a bit dim, but we get by.
