Star Sanitary Ware

Our place, Star Sanitary Ware, is located at 22/1 Snehalata Ganj, right by the Pathar Godown on the main road. It is a very busy spot with trucks and tempos moving in and out all day long. Because of the location, it gets quite dusty, so we are always wiping things down. We aren’t a shiny showroom with bright lights and fancy displays. It is more like a working warehouse where we keep all the heavy items like pipes, tanks, and bathroom fittings. We spend most of our time in the back moving crates around or checking the inventory. My hands are usually a bit rough from handling the ceramic and metal parts all day. We have been here for a good while, so we know most of the drivers and other shop owners on this stretch of the road. People come to us when they need something specific for their house repairs. We don’t do much talking; we just find the right part and get it out for them. Sometimes the shop is a bit cluttered because we have so much stock arriving, but we know where everything is kept. We don’t have air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that hum all day. It is hard work, especially in the summer heat, but it is what we do. We just focus on getting the orders right and helping the people who walk through the door.
