New Minesh Hospital

Station Road in Rau is always a lively place to be. Our hospital is situated right along this stretch, so we hear the trains coming and going all day long. The vibration of the tracks is just part of the atmosphere here. People coming off the trains often stop by or use us as a landmark when they are giving directions. The road outside can get quite dusty with all the trucks and rickshaws passing through. Inside the hospital, we try to keep things as calm as we can. It is a simple building, nothing too modern or flashy. We have the basic wards and a small area for check-ups. Most of our staff has been here for years, so we all know how the place runs. We spend a lot of our time chatting with the patients who come from the nearby villages. They bring news from outside and we give them their medicine. There is a small tea shop across the road where we usually get our morning snacks. The hospital doesn't have a big marketing department or anything. We just have a sign out front and doors that stay open. Rau is a growing area, but it still feels like a small town in many ways. We like being right here on Station Road where we can see everything happening. It is just a plain, honest hospital for the people living and traveling through this area.
