Being up on the 7th floor of Pukhraj Corporate gives us a decent view of the Navlakha Bus Stand across the street. It’s always noisy down there, even from this high up. We are right on the main road, so finding us isn’t too hard if you know the landmark. Our office is just a regular room with some desks and files everywhere. Finance is what we do, mostly looking at numbers and filling out forms all day long. It gets quiet in here when everyone is concentrated on their work. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon slump. Some of the staff have been here since we first opened this branch. It's a professional building but we keep our corner pretty relaxed. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff we need to get through the day. Sometimes the elevator takes forever, which is annoying when you're in a hurry. Navlakha Main Road is always packed with traffic, so we usually hear the horns even through the glass. We just focus on the paperwork and the clients who come by. It’s a lot of sitting and typing, really. Not much to look at, but it’s our daily routine. We try to stay on top of the regulations, which change more often than you'd think. It's just a steady job for us here in the city and we take it as it comes.
