Mugen Creations

Mugen Creations is found on the ground floor of the ATDC Building inside the Readymade Complex in Pardesipura. Being in the Readymade Complex means we are surrounded by other businesses doing similar work, mostly in the garment and textile trade. It is a very industrial part of town with lots of trucks moving in and out all day long. Our space is quite large but it is usually full of materials and finished goods waiting to be picked up. The ground floor location is convenient because we do not have to carry heavy loads up any stairs. The building is old and the floors are made of concrete that gets very cold in the winter. We have a few benches where we sit to do the fine work. It is noisy because of all the machines running in the other units, but you stop noticing it after a while. We do not have any corporate hierarchy here. Everyone just knows what they need to do and they get on with it. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused, especially during the long afternoon shifts. Pardesipura is a busy place and we are just one small part of it. We do not put on any shows for visitors. What you see is exactly how we work every day. It is a bit dusty and loud, but it is our place.
