Mrtb Hospital

Started working here at the Keh Compound a while back. Mrtb Hospital isn't fancy, just a building where we try to help folks out. Most days are busy. People come in from the neighborhood because we're right here. It’s a bit cramped sometimes but we make it work. I remember when the paint was new, now it’s got some scuffs on the walls. We keep the floors clean though. It’s just us doing what needs doing. Sometimes the phones ring too much. We deal with all sorts of stuff. A kid with a scraped knee or someone feeling under the weather. We don't have those big leather chairs or anything. Just plastic ones in the waiting room. They're sturdy enough. The lights hum a little in the hallway. You get used to it. My desk is near the front door so I see everyone coming and going. It gets hot in the afternoons. We open the windows when it's not too dusty outside. It's just a regular place. No big speeches or anything like that. We just show up and do the jobs. If someone needs a hand, we do what we can with what we've got. It’s been here for years and people know where to find us in the compound. Not much else to say. We just keep the doors open and stay busy. Sometimes we run out of coffee. That's a bad day for me. But we get through it.
