It is a very busy junction where a lot of transport happens, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the heavy trucks passing by on their way out of town. Our building isn't anything special to look at, but it serves our needs just fine for storing and moving pharmaceutical goods. We have a front area where we handle the administrative stuff and a larger back area for the crates and boxes. Because of the location at Dewas Naka, we get a lot of drivers stopping in to pick up or drop off shipments at odd hours. It’s a fast-paced environment and we spend a lot of time checking manifest lists against what is actually in the boxes. Sometimes things get mixed up and we have to spend an hour sorting it all out, which is just how it goes sometimes in this line of work. The walls are a bit plain and the floor has some scuff marks from the heavy hand carts we use to move the loads around the floor. We don't mind the mess much because it shows we are getting work done. Most of us have been working together here for several years now. We know the routine and we just get on with it without making a big fuss or using fancy words to describe what we do.
