Matrix Beauty Island

You can find us on the second floor of Sapna Sangeeta Mall. We’re right above the Food Bazar, so you can usually smell whatever is cooking downstairs. Being in a mall on Sapna Sangeeta Road means we get a lot of foot traffic. People come in while they’re out doing their grocery shopping or catching a movie. The space is a bit rectangular, and we’ve lined it with mirrors to make it feel a bit more open. Since we’re on the second floor, we don’t get much natural light, so we rely on the overhead tubes. It’s a bright place. We spend a lot of time organizing the retail products near the entrance. The mall can get pretty loud on weekends, especially when there are sales going on downstairs. We try to keep our area a bit more relaxed. We have a small sink area in the back for washing. The chairs are old but comfortable enough for a long sit. We keep a ledger for appointments, but plenty of people just wander in. It’s a very urban feel being in the middle of a shopping center in Indore. We have a small staff, and we all know each other’s routines by now. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s consistent. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards and other shop owners are like family to us. We usually grab tea together when things are slow in the afternoon.
