Mahashabde Netralaya

People usually find us because we are right near the Punjab National Bank on Kesharbag Road. It gets pretty crowded around here on Jawahar Marg, especially during the middle of the day when everyone is out doing their errands. Our place, Mahashabde Netralaya, is just a regular eye clinic where we spend most of our time looking at charts and helping people get their vision sorted out. It isn't a fancy setup with a lot of shiny things, but we have what we need to do the job. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud you can hear the horns even when the door is shut. We’ve been in this Indira Gandhi Nagar area for a while now, so the locals know where to go when they need their eyes checked. The waiting room has some chairs that have seen better days, and there's usually a stack of old newspapers for people to read while they wait their turn. We try to get through the appointments as they come, though things sometimes get backed up if a lot of people show up at once. It’s just me and a couple of others working here most days. We usually take a tea break in the afternoon when things quiet down a bit. It’s a basic place, but it works for the neighborhood and that's really all we need.
